Swedish Love Stories is the overall theme this year. Together with our Japanese friends we want to exchange ideas and open doors to a more sustainable urban lifestyle. New thinking is needed with all the challenges of today. Artists and designers with their non-linear and creative thinking have a vital role to play.

Swedish Style in Tokyo started in 1999 with the Swedish Embassy as a natural meeting point. It grew out of a genuine local interest in contemporary Swedish culture. Since the start, a large number of Swedish artists have travelled to Tokyo to share the latest within Swedish Fashion, Film, Photography, Design, Art, Music and Food.
Thanks to the support by many Japanese partners, the event continues in an ongoing meeting between people, culture and business.

This year over 50 Swedish participants are coming to Tokyo to meet with Japanese friends.
